Pretoria Sandwani 2010

The 6^th leg of the Maxxis National 4x4 challenge was held again at Sandwani Game lodge.

We left Port Elizabeth at 3am the morning to try and avoid getting at Sandwani late like last year. After a long night or early morning, Chris and Konrad was not much help in the car and slept most of the way... well that was when I eventually got them in and all the doors closed.

There is still lots of roadwork along the way and I must say that I CANT WAIT FOR ALL THE ROADWORKS TO BE COMPLETED. It is going to be a pleasure to drive on them when done.

Sandwani did not disappoint, for the event was great! Lots of spectators showed up again and lots of action. Watch the video clip!

On our way back we stopped at the “Slagtersnek” monument. Not a very impressive monument, but interesting history which many claim is one of the reasons for the “Great Trek”. More info about the events can be found @
