Maxxis National 4x4 Challenge – Alberton 2011

Well again we had a great trip up North, along the way the normal road works and some interesting pics of aircraft high up in the sky.

We had a pleasant stay at the Stables  just a stone through away from the 4x4 course, Helen had to assist Charles with a bit of a finger problem and the next day it was much better.

Alberton was the host for this event and we were greeted  to a very wet course.

The sponsors made the course look quit festive with all the banners and flags around their obstacles. All the water and mud made it a very difficult to get traction and tyres did play a big part in this event. Spectators were treated to some spectacular driving and lost of wheel spins.

Great event and the competition is getting very interesting especially in the top 10. Check back for the broadcast dates for this exciting 1hr show.
